An editorial team that knows Chamonix from the inside, checks on the ground and dates every source.
Clémence grew up in Les Houches and worked four winters at the ticket office of a lift in the valley. She knows which passes sell for too much on a Saturday, and which runs close first when the snow gives way in April. She only gives a lift time if it is on that day's board.
Nathalie spent six years on the front desk of a hotel near Chamonix station, answering the same questions every day about shuttles, the Montenvers train and parking. She writes the pages she would have liked to hand to her guests. She checks every price with the operator, never in a guidebook.
Thibault led groups along the south balcony trails for eight summers, from Le Brévent to La Flégère. He builds his routes stopwatch in hand and cuts whatever does not fit into a real day. He would rather write that an outing is not worth the ticket than pad out a list.
