The verdict
The MBC presents itself as Chamonix's first microbrewery, open since 2002. Its founders brought a bit of Canada with them: hockey on the screens, poutine and a North American pub atmosphere.
With more than 2,000 Google reviews at 4.4, it is the most reviewed bar in town.
On site
Beers brewed on site with glacier water, served at the foot of the tanks. Gigs, big matches, happy hour and theme nights set the rhythm of the week.
The terrace looks over the valley, which also makes it a summer address.
Our advice
This is the place to watch a game or end the day as a group. It is on route du Bouchet, a little away from the bar streets: allow ten minutes on foot from the centre.
